Identification of drivers in Route 4 crash near Turner gun store.
Authorities in Maine have discovered the identities of the drivers involved in a fiery collision near a gun store on Route 4 in Turner. The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office was alerted to the incident after receiving several 911 calls reporting a serious crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck in front of Northeastern Firearms at 868 Auburn Road on Wednesday morning. Video footage captured a black pickup truck with severe front-end damage obstructing one lane and a tractor-trailer engulfed in flames on the side of the road. The individuals involved, 51-year-old Fox Keim of Cornish and 82-year-old Roger Eastman of Milan, New Hampshire, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Central Maine Medical Center. The collision resulted in significant damage to both vehicles, with the tractor-trailer catching fire due to a ruptured fuel tank. The road section was briefly closed for cleanup, and the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
