Identification of driver in fatal collision with New Haven city bus
In New Haven, Connecticut, the local police have identified the individual who passed away following a collision with a CT Transit bus on Friday evening. Jordan Betancourt-Escorza, 25, from New Haven, was observed on video footage driving a VW Golf GLS southbound on Middletown Avenue. Betancourt-Escorza then veered into the northbound lane, resulting in a head-on crash with the bus. Emergency responders found Betancourt-Escorza in the driver's seat with injuries, but despite efforts from medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries at Yale New Haven Hospital.
