Identification of driver in deadly crash by Parleys Canyon
A driver was tragically killed on Thursday morning after being thrown from a vehicle that went off the road and into a ravine by Interstate 215. The driver has been identified as Colin Atherton, a 27-year-old resident of Millcreek. The incident occurred near Parleys Canyon when the vehicle rolled down the ravine from the eastbound ramp to I-80 to I-215. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the driver leaving the road, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
