Identification of Deadly New York Bus Crash Victims
Five individuals who lost their lives in a tragic tour bus accident in western New York have been identified by the police. The victims were named as Shankar Kumar Jha, Pinki Changrani, Xie Hongzhuo, Zhang Xiaolan, and Jian Mingli. The incident occurred when the bus, carrying 54 passengers, including the driver and a tour guide, overturned on an interstate parkway near Buffalo. Many occupants were hospitalized, with 14 remaining in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with authorities suggesting driver distraction as a possible reason. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation and seeking additional information from witnesses or those with video footage. The tour company involved in the incident, M&Y Tour Inc., has not yet commented on the tragedy.
