Identification of 2 individuals killed in North Aurora I-88 accident
Authorities have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate-88 near Mitchell Road in North Aurora on Saturday night. The victims are Diego Nava Torres, 32, and Samantha Ortiz, 33, both residents of Chicago. The collision happened on the westbound side of I-88 close to milepost 118 at around 8 p.m. on October 25. Sadly, both Torres and Ortiz were pronounced deceased at the accident site. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash. While two lanes were temporarily closed, they have since been reopened, as reported by ISP.
