
Idaho State Police probe deadly 3-car collision by Nampa
The Idaho State Police are currently investigating a tragic three-car crash that took place late Saturday evening around 11:19 p.m. Authorities reported that the collision occurred when the driver of a blue 1999 Ford Escort disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of Riverside Road and Highway 55 just west of Nampa. The Ford Escort, containing a passenger, collided with a silver 2025 Toyota Tundra traveling northbound. A gray 2022 Honda Civic, heading southbound, swerved to avoid the collision and ended up off the road. Tragically, the Ford Escort driver, a 59-year-old man from Boise, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger of the Ford Escort and two occupants of the Toyota Tundra were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, while the Honda Civic driver was unharmed. All individuals involved were wearing seatbelts. It took several hours for emergency crews to clear the area and reopen the roads. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
