Idaho police report truck crossing line in deadly collision near Yellowstone.

Last week near Yellowstone National Park, a tragic collision between a pickup truck and a tour van resulted in the loss of seven lives, as confirmed by authorities. According to the Idaho State Police report, a Dodge Ram pickup veered across the center line on Highway 20 near Henry's Lake State Park, striking the Mercedes tour van and igniting both vehicles. The cause of the pickup truck's lane departure remains unknown, as investigators continue to reconstruct the crash scene. The driver of the truck and six passengers in the tour van were among those who tragically lost their lives in the incident. The National Transportation Safety Board is also involved in the investigation due to the commercial nature of the tour van. Both agencies are conducting independent investigations while collaborating and sharing information. The Idaho State Police, as well as local responders and the Idaho Transportation Department, quickly responded to the distressing scene, with the highway closed for nearly seven hours to manage the aftermath of the crash.
