I-79 South Reopens After Vehicle Crash in Marion County

The Marion County 911 log reported the accident, described as a vehicle collision with injuries, occurring just before 3 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities confirmed that a truck with a hay bale-carrying trailer was involved, resulting in the closure of I-79 south at mile marker 130. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Pictures taken by a 12 News reporter at the scene show the overturned truck and trailer obstructing lanes. Responders from the Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Marion County Rescue Squad, White Hall Police Department, and West Virginia State Police were on site.
