
I-70 shut down in Garfield County after car crash
UPDATE: The Eastbound I-70 has been reopened at 6:15 p.m., while the Westbound I-70 lane remains closed. In Garfield County, Colorado, the Garfield County Sheriff's Office reported a vehicle accident closure between Parachute and Rulison at around 5:39 p.m. The left lane for Westbound I-70 and both Eastbound lanes are shut between US 6 and Exit 75 at Mile Point 79. A CareFlight helicopter has been requested to land in the area. The Colorado Department of Transportation recommends reducing speeds in the affected area.
