I-70 EB reopens after crash involving 2 semis in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- A crash involving two semis brought traffic to a standstill for several hours in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Morgan County Monday afternoon. According to the INDOT Traffic Management Center, officials had closed all the lanes of I-70 EB near mile marker 61 as authorities responded to the serious crash. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office shared the following photos of the crash: Authorities were diverting traffic to SR-39 as authorities cleaned up material from the damaged semis. In an update INDOT sent shortly after 6:30 p.m., officials confirmed all lanes had reopened. FOX59/CBS4 is working to learn more about this incident, including if any injuries have been reported.
