I-69 in Gibson County closed due to tractor trailer accident
A collision between two tractor-trailers on I-69 near Oakland City temporarily shut down part of the highway. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. The incident took place at mile marker 36 on Wednesday when one semi rear-ended another, resulting in a fire. Emergency crews successfully extinguished the flames, and one individual was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Traffic is flowing again, albeit restricted to one lane.
