I-65 Shutdown in Indiana due to Fatal 3-Truck Collision

A fatal accident involving three semi trucks occurred on I-65 near Fair Oaks, Indiana, causing a section of the highway to be closed overnight. One of the trucks carrying peat moss caught fire, leading to repeated flare-ups that hindered the clearing process. Southbound traffic is being redirected at exit 220, but authorities have not estimated how long the closures will last. Indiana State Police suggest using U.S. 41 or U.S. 231 as detours. The police have confirmed the crash was fatal, however, additional information has not been disclosed. Stay tuned for further updates from CBS News Chicago.
