I-64 west in Woodford Co. partly closed due to multi-vehicle crash
A major accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on I-64 West in Woodford County, Kentucky, causing the closure of the highway between Midway (exit 65) and US60/Frankfort (exit 58). The closure is expected to last indefinitely. Pictures shared by the Frankfort-Franklin County Office of Emergency Management on Facebook showed several semi-trucks on fire. Traffic diversions were put in place, with drivers advised to expect delays. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet stated that traffic was being rerouted at Exit 65 to US 421 at Midway, then to US 60 at Frankfort, and back onto I-64 at Exit 58.
