I-5 in Seattle Reopens After Semi-Truck Accident
Traffic came to a halt on I-5 in North Seattle on Wednesday morning due to an accident involving a semi-truck and another vehicle. Emergency crews responded to the scene near North 85th Street at 9:39 a.m., resulting in the closure of all northbound lanes at Northgate Way and three left southbound lanes. By 11:56 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation had cleared the scene and reopened all lanes. Fortunately, all individuals involved in the crash were able to get out of their vehicles on their own, with Seattle Fire Department stating that everyone is in stable condition and will be taken to a hospital for further treatment.
