I-40 West reopens after crash near Airport Blvd: Officials
Emergency crews have responded to a rain-related accident on Interstate 40 close to RDU airport in Morrisville, North Carolina. The crash occurred on I-40 West at mile marker 284, prompting the closure of three out of four lanes on the highway. Fire trucks quickly arrived at the scene to block off the area and prevent further accidents. An ambulance was also present to assist with any injuries. The crash has since been cleared and moved onto the highway shoulder. State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and will provide updates on the injured passengers' conditions.
