I-40 Eastbound Reopens After Multiple Vehicle Collision

A multi-vehicle collision caused a temporary closure of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Midwest City on Thursday. Sky 5 footage revealed that three vehicles were part of the crash between concrete barriers near Anderson Road, leading to the shutdown of the eastbound lanes and slowing traffic on the westbound side. Tow trucks later cleared the damaged vehicles, including one with significant front-end damage and another with rear-end damage, along with a semi-trailer with grille damage. The incident resulted in a brief disruption, but I-40 is now open for traffic.
