
I-35 lanes back in service after multiple vehicles crash with semi-truck near Woodland Ave.
Early Friday morning, a crash involving multiple vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, caused lane closures on the southbound side of Interstate 35 near Woodland Avenue in Austin. Austin Police Department reported investigating the crash around 6:30 a.m., following a call they received at 5:49 a.m. The incident, which included at least four vehicles and the 18-wheeler, led to the closure of three lanes and the shoulder of the interstate until around 9 a.m., as confirmed by Austin Transportation and Public Works. An injury was reported according to the Travis County Fire Incident Report Page, although there were no details on the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries.
