I-26 Crash in Unicoi Results in No Injuries
A crash occurred on Interstate 26 in Unicoi on Saturday evening, but fortunately, no injuries were reported, as confirmed by the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP). The incident involved a Dodge Ram 2500 with a trailer and a 2003 Ford F-250 with a trailer both heading west on I-26. The Dodge's trailer lost control, causing it to fishtail, spin, and flip, scattering roofing debris on the interstate. Subsequently, the Ford, driven by a juvenile, collided with the Dodge at an angle. Despite the collision, both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, escaped injuries. THP is considering charges in relation to the incident, which took place at mile marker 32 around 7:45 p.m.
