I-25 reopened after fatal crash on Friday morning
Northbound Interstate 25 had to be shut down for a few hours on early Friday morning due to a fatal accident near 6th Avenue, as reported by the Denver Police Department. The tragic crash occurred around 2:57 a.m. and resulted in the loss of two lives. According to Fox31, two vehicles with only the drivers inside were involved, with one driver traveling in the wrong direction and colliding head-on with the other. The closure of Northbound I-25 at Santa Fe Drive was in place following the incident, but the road was reopened around 6:30 a.m.
