Four fatalities have been confirmed as of 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Their identities will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner after the next of kin have been notified. As this crash remains an active investigation under CSP's Vehicular Crimes Unit, the final numbers regarding injuries, fatalities, and vehicles involved will be updated once the scene has been cleared. CSP also noted that on Tuesday morning, there were heavy winds that were blowing dirt, creating "brown out" conditions with little to no visibility in the area at the time of the initial crash. All lanes of northbound I-25 are closed at milepost 93, south of West Pueblo Boulevard, and southbound I-25 is closed at milepost 94.
