Update: Investigators have confirmed one fatality in the fatal crash that shut down I-24 Westbound at mile marker 43 earlier. All lanes have since reopened, and traffic flow has returned to normal. This incident was separate from the earlier crash near I-24 and Briley Parkway. The closure at the northern I-24/I-65 interchange affected traffic headed towards Clarksville.
