I-205 back in service after overturned truck closure for 7 hours
KOIN reported that a semi truck overturned due to a crash on Interstate 205 in Portland, Oregon, resulting in a partial blockage of the highway on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. near Powell, obstructing traffic in both directions until the road was cleared by authorities. The collision was caused when a car struck the semi truck, causing it to lose control and tip over. The driver of the car, suspected of driving under the influence, was transported to the hospital and then taken into police custody. After more than seven hours of closure for cleanup, both sides of the interstate were reopened to traffic.
