I-15 reopens after fatal wrong-way crash
There was a fatal accident on I-15 in Salt Lake City involving a wrong-way driver who was killed in a collision. The incident caused the closure of the road, but it has since been reopened. The crash happened when the driver of a blue Toyota Camry, traveling in the wrong direction, collided head-on with an Audi on I-15 at 700 South. The Audi driver sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the Camry driver passed away at the scene. Traffic was diverted, but the road was expected to fully reopen by 3:30 p.m. The deceased driver's identity has not been made public.
