I-10 shut down in both ways after Marana bus accident
Officials from the Arizona Department of Transportation have announced the closure of I-10 in both directions due to a crash in the Marana area. According to a recent update on the department's social media page, the freeway is shut down near Tangerine Road. The Department of Public Safety has also reported on social media that the incident involved a school bus and resulted in injuries. In a message on the Kingman Unified School District's website, district officials mentioned that the bus was carrying Future Business Leaders of America students and three chaperones at the time of the accident. The statement also noted that several students and a staff member have been taken for medical assessment.
