Hutto mother advocates for safety improvements at intersection post son's motorcycle crash.

Heather Gauvin, a mother from Hutto, is mourning the loss of her son Ryker Bradley, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 79 in October 2024. Ryker had recently returned from serving in the Marines and was a beloved member of the community. Heather remembers him as someone who lived life to the fullest and had a passion for joining the Marine Corps since childhood. Despite his return home and landing a job as a safety officer at Hutto ISD, his life was cut short in the accident. Following the tragic incident, his family is advocating for traffic safety improvements at the intersection where the accident occurred, highlighting the need for changes to prevent further tragedies. Heather hopes that by sharing Ryker's story, awareness will be raised about the importance of road safety and the protection of motorcyclists.
