Hutchinson woman killed in crash on Monday
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 61-year-old Hutchinson woman was killed in a crash on Monday. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on 17th Avenue east of Faubion Street. The KHP said a Dodge Dakota was heading west on 17th Avenue and crossed the center line for an unknown reason. A Buick Envision was heading east and could not avoid the collision with the pickup. The driver of the SUV, Helen Blevins, was killed in the crash. A 29-year-old SUV passenger and the 37-year-old pickup driver were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
