HPD: Pedestrian dies following crash involving motorcycle near Todds Lane
HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) -- A person has died after being struck by a motorcycle in Hampton Tuesday morning. According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Todds Lane and Aberdeen Road just after midnight for the report of a motorcycle crash. When officers and fire personnel arrived, they found a pedestrian who had been struck by a motorcycle while in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This crash is under investigation by the Hampton Police Division’s Accident Reconstruction Team
