A man from Hopkinton has been sentenced to three years in prison for his involvement in a fatal crash in North Stonington. The incident occurred in 2021 when James Pont, 63, veered over the center line on Pendleton Hill Road, resulting in a collision with Ryan Poland, 39, from North Providence.
