Hoover police investigating wreck involving fatality on Interstate 65
One person was killed and others were injured in a wreck on Interstate 65 in Hoover.The Hoover Police Department reported officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-65 just past the U.S. Highway 31 exit.The wreck happened about 8 p.m. and was located in the southbound lanes.Police said one person died at the scene and two others were injured and taken to a hospital. At least one lane was closed in that area through 10 p.m.An investigation is ongoing.Follow: Interactive traffic map
