Honoring young mother who died in H1 crash

In the early hours of Sunday morning, tragedy struck when a 25-year-old woman named Kylee Chun lost her life in a head-on collision on the Westbound H-1 freeway. The incident occurred as she was traveling in the Eastbound lane and collided with an 18-wheeler truck. The driver of the truck, a 77-year-old individual, sustained a shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Kylee Chun, a mother of two who had recently moved to Hawaii after being impacted by the California fires, tragically passed away from her injuries later that day. Reflecting on her life, a close family friend named Beejay Druary shared how Kylee was a vibrant and hard-working individual, deeply devoted to her two sons. Despite facing online negativity following a public interview, Kylee's family is focused on honoring her memory and supporting her sons. Survived by her mother Jenny, younger sister Kalea, and boys Mateo (5) and Liko (3), a GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with funeral costs and support the children's future.
