Thompson, also known as Honey Boo Boo, was hit on the driver's side of her car as she was leaving her driveway to go for a hair appointment. Mama June mentioned that although Thompson sustained minor injuries, she is overall okay. The collision, according to Mama June, was Thompson's first car accident. Mama June highlighted that drivers often speed on the road where the incident occurred and commended the 23-year-old driver for admitting fault by acknowledging that he was going 40 mph and may have been distracted.
