HARVEY, Ill. — A homicide investigation is underway on Friday morning after authorities say a shooting victim crashed his car into two homes in south suburban Harvey overnight. According to police, the crash unfolded just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of East 145th Street and Center Avenue in Harvey. Officers said the victim, a 42-year-old man who had been shot in the chest, was driving in the area when he crashed into two houses along Center Avenue. The victim, who has not yet been identified, later died from his injuries. Currently, it is unclear where the shooting took place and officers say no arrests have been made.
