Hit-and-run in Milwaukee leaves EMT dead; 2 men charged
Two Milwaukee residents named Dayton Milligan, 22, and Earl Gordon, 37, have been charged following their involvement in a fatal hit-and-run at 76th and Glendale that resulted in the death of an EMT. According to reports by Milwaukee police, the crash occurred Thursday evening, Jan. 15, involving a pickup truck and an SUV, both sustaining significant damage. Tragically, the driver of the SUV, Meng Kue, did not survive the collision. An eyewitness reported seeing the pickup truck racing at high speeds with two other vehicles before the accident took place. Police managed to track down Milligan soon after the incident, and later arrested Gordon on Jan. 19. Both defendants were due to appear in Milwaukee County court on Wednesday, Jan. 21. It was also revealed that Milligan had a previous conviction for reckless homicide and hit-and-run causing death in June 2021, while Gordon was convicted in March 2023 for hit-and-run causing great bodily harm.
