Hilliard police say man raped woman after car crash
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman is accusing her boyfriend of rape after she crashed her car into a brick wall at a Hilliard restaurant. Hilliard police report that on May 16, a woman crashed her car into a brick wall of the Wilson’s Bar and Grill parking lot. The restaurant is close to her apartment, which she shares with Lane Tyler Boor. The woman said that Boor became upset and kept texting her to return home. Upon arrival, the woman and two other individuals carried items into the apartment and Boor was reportedly yelling at her to get them to leave. Police said Boor told the other two individuals to leave the apartment and after the were gone, grabbed the woman by the arm and threw her down. For a review of Friday's top stories view the video player above. A police complaint form sates that Boor pinned the victim so she could not move and sodomized her, then told her to "sleep it off". Boor is charged with rape and was issued a $75,000 bond in municipal court on Friday. He is next scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 29.
