In the latest police report from Decorah, it was detailed that on July 3 at 1:56 pm, there was a two-vehicle accident at the junction of Highway 9 and Old Stage Road. The investigation revealed that Marilyn Larson, a 90-year-old resident of Decorah, failed to yield while turning left from Old Stage Road onto Highway 9. Consequently, her vehicle was struck by another vehicle driven by Mckenna Dutton, 22, from Black River Falls, Wisconsin. A passenger in Larson's vehicle was taken to the Winn Med ER for minor injuries, while the drivers were unharmed. The Decorah Police received assistance from the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, Winn Med ambulance service, Don's Towing Service, and other individuals at the scene.
