
High school student killed after crash in Bedford, family says
A high school student is dead after a crash Easter morning in Bedford, according to police and family.Bedford police said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Back River Road near the intersection with County Road.The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was later pronounced dead, police said. >> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google Play <<The vehicle hit a pole and then rolled over, according to police. Bedford police have released no details about the driver's identity. A family member told News 9 the driver was a student at Trinity High School. >> Subscribe to WMUR's YouTube channel <<In a statement to News 9, president of Trinity High School and St. Joseph Junior High School Nathan Stanton said, "I am deeply saddened to share the news of the tragic passing of one of our juniors, who was involved in a fatal, single person motor vehicle accident last evening. The entire Trinity High School and St. Joseph Junior High School community offers our prayers for her and her family as they deal with this unimaginable loss."Bedford police are investigating and more details will be released at a later time, police said.
