Henderson ISD grieves for student and alumna killed in tragic accident.
Henderson Independent School District and the local community are saddened by the loss of a current Henderson ISD student and a former student in a tragic accident. The district shared that Kyla Henderson, an alumna of Henderson High School, and Aubree Edney, who was set to start sixth grade this year, were both victims of the crash on Monday. Counseling services will be provided for students and staff as they cope with the passing of these two girls. Henderson ISD expressed their condolences to the Henderson and Edney families, as well as everyone affected by this devastating event, stating that Kyla and Aubree will be deeply missed by those who knew and cared for them.
