Helicopter accident close to Springfield Downtown Airport
A helicopter crashed south of the Springfield Downtown Airport. The incident happened between the Cooper Tennis Complex and the Cooper baseball field. Two individuals were taken to the hospital with severe injuries. The helicopter belonged to So Fly, a helicopter flight training school in Springfield, who used the airport's field for takeoff.
