HCFR: 3 hospitalized after 5 vehicle crash on Hwy 17
Crews responded to a five vehicle crash that caused one car to overturn and three people taken to the hospital, on Highway 17 and Coventry Road in Surfside Beach, according to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) HCFR is asking all drivers to avoid this area due to lanes of traffic being blocked off. They add that three people have signed medical transport waivers, according to HCFR. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating with assistance from the Horry County Police Department.
