Guilty plea in fatal hit-and-run crash in Wichita

A resident of Wichita, Kansas, has entered a guilty plea for his involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of an Andover man. Nathan Luck admitted his guilt at the Sedgwick County District Court, confessing to charges of involuntary manslaughter under the influence of substances, and failure to stop at an accident leading to death. This plea was made in connection to the tragic collision that took place on the night of July 28, 2024, at the crossroads of Central and Bristol near Greenwich, claiming the life of 64-year-old Steven Golik from Andover. Golik, who was riding a motorcycle, was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, with the perpetrator later identified as Luck and apprehended at a residential location on Bristol Court. The sentencing for Luck is scheduled for November 21 at 2 p.m.
