The suspect allegedly fled the scene, leaving the victim and his motorcycle behind, but was later apprehended. The suspect reportedly admitted to the crash but claimed he panicked due to issues with his license. Indiana State Police emphasized the importance of following road rules to prevent such accidents. The suspect, Bhavjit Singh Gill, faces charges including causing death while intoxicated, reckless homicide, and more. Singh Gill appeared in court and is currently in custody on a cash bond.
