GoFundMe pages made for families affected by deadly Marin County crash

(KRON) — Multiple GoFundMe pages are accepting donations to help the families affected by the Marin County crash, which tragically killed four Archie Williams High School students and left two others seriously injured on April 18. KRON has verified accounts set up for three of the victims, though more legitimate GoFundMe pages may exist. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims involved in Friday’s crash. Community members at Saturday’s vigil told KRON4 that five of the crash victims were sophomores at the San Anselmo school. One was a freshman. The GoFundMe pages provide more info on the lives lost in the crash. “Olive was only 14 years old,” one of the GoFundMe pages reads. “Her life was tragically taken along with the others in a horrific car accident in West Marin. Olive was a bright light in everyone's life. She always had a smile. She had a wonderful appetite for food and for life. She was kind, she was beautiful, she was smart and sassy, and a faithful friend. She loved her family, friends, and pets. She was also loved by so many around her. Her time was way too short here.” The pages have collectively raised more than $150,000 since they were created. “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love and support you've shown already,” one page reads. “Many have left flowers, food and treasured words of kindness. All forms of support are welcome and mean the world to the entire family. Our love goes out to all involved and we are grateful to be a part of this incredible community.”
