Girls Found in Trailer in Lindon Critical Injury Crash
Two young girls were discovered in a refrigerated trailer following a serious crash in Lindon on Wednesday. Jacob Ortell Scott, 28, was taken into custody on charges of aggravated child abuse. The incident, which caused a multi-vehicle collision, began when the truck Scott was driving experienced a blown tire. Troopers investigating the crash found the girls trapped in the trailer with no way to exit. The girls, aged 14 and 12, are related to Scott. While he mentioned possibly sustaining a hand injury, he was later admitted to the hospital before being transferred to Utah County Jail without bail. Remember that these are just accusations and an individual is innocent until proven guilty.
