Gilroy police seek witnesses of deadly pedestrian crash
The Gilroy Police Department is seeking video footage or eyewitnesses after a tragic collision on Tuesday night involving a motorcyclist and a pedestrian. The incident occurred at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Ballybunion Drive just before 8 p.m. Officers arrived to find a 53-year-old motorcyclist with minor injuries and a 61-year-old pedestrian with serious injuries. The pedestrian later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The cause of the accident is currently being investigated, and the victim's identity has not been disclosed.
