Fundraiser launched by witnesses of tragic Island Park crash for Cooper family
Sunroom Coffee from Salt Lake City has launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to support the Cooper family following the tragic car accident that took the life of 5-year-old Catherine Cooper near Island Park. The Cooper family, who were returning to their cabin after a parade on July 4, were involved in the accident that also injured six family members and the semitruck driver. The fundraiser, named "Stand By the Coopers in Their Time of Loss," was initiated by Sunroom Coffee's project manager. Sunroom Coffee's owners, who happened to witness the crash, provided immediate assistance and later helped in finding the family's dog, Luna.
