Fundraiser created for 5-year-old boy who died in Rincon Beach rockslide

Maxwell was fatally injured while climbing rocks with a friend, in front of his parents and loved ones. A GoFundMe page has been created to assist the family with expenses such as funeral costs and grief counseling. The fundraiser has already raised over $34,000 of its $60,000 goal. Described as an adventurous spirit with a generous heart, Maxwell brought immense joy to those around him. His parents, Mikey and Chrissy, valued experiences over material possessions and are known for their kindness towards others. Friends of the family organized the fundraiser, emphasizing the family’s need for support during this difficult time. Maxwell will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
