Four people injured in Knox County accident during foggy weather.
In Knox County, Kentucky, deputies responded to a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 25E early on a Saturday morning. The incident, reported around 5:40 a.m. on November 8, was caused by foggy conditions. Four individuals were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. One person who had left their car to assess the damage from the initial collision was struck by another vehicle. The accidents were attributed to poor visibility due to severe weather. As a result, the roadway between RECC and the Corbin Bypass was temporarily closed but reopened by 8 a.m. Sheriff Mike Smith expressed gratitude to the first responders and those who provided assistance to the victims while ensuring the accident scene was managed safely.
