Four injured in three-vehicle collision

Four individuals were injured in a severe crash on the Hampstead Bypass in Carroll County on Friday morning. Three were airlifted to Shock Trauma, while one was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The Maryland State Police were called to the scene of the three-vehicle accident shortly before 8 a.m. Lanes on the Hampstead Bypass are currently closed in both directions, located north of Phillips Drive. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is working with the Maryland State Police to manage the situation. This is an evolving story and further updates will be provided as new details emerge.
