
Four injured in McHenry County collision flipping a vehicle, authorities report
A collision involving two vehicles occurred in a northwestern suburb of McHenry County, resulting in four individuals being taken to hospitals on Monday afternoon. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at the crossing of Route 176 and North Union Road at approximately 4:11 p.m., as reported by the Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts. Upon arrival, one vehicle was found overturned on its roof just beyond the intersection, while the other vehicle had stopped in a nearby farm field. Both cars sustained significant damage. The transported individuals suffered minor to moderate injuries that were not life-threatening. Investigations into the incident are being conducted by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
