Four deputies injured in Robinson Township collision
A crash in Robinson Township on Thursday night resulted in four individuals being injured after a driver failed to obey a stop sign, according to deputies. The incident occurred at Osborn Street and 104th Avenue around 9:05 p.m. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office reported that a collision happened between a silver Ford F-350 traveling north on 104th Avenue and a black Ford F-250 traveling west on Osborn. The driver of the westbound truck, a 23-year-old man from Allendale, did not stop at the stop sign and collided with the northbound truck, leading both vehicles to come to a stop in a field. Emergency responders had to extricate the occupants of the westbound F-250, including the driver who was airlifted to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Another passenger from the westbound truck and the driver of the northbound F-350 were also hospitalized with injuries. Although the crash briefly closed the intersection, it has since reopened. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts, as confirmed by the sheriff's office.
